The City of Milano is organising the first ever “Milano Digital Week” from 15 to 18 March 2018. More than 300 workshops, courses, hackathons, panel discussions, and other events will attract innovators, start-ups and industry to connect them with citizens and municipalities.

With the overall goal to promote digital innovation, the Milano Digital Week covers topics ranging from the EU Digital Agenda, to Artificial Intelligence, and Internet of Things, but also to more domain-specific challenges such as Smart Manufacturing, Autonomous Driving and many more.

Chiara Bresciani, Project Manager at the City of Milano, will present the SynchroniCity project at the event “Financing and opportunities for the digital revolution, EU calls and national calls for SMEs and research centres” on 16 March.

Bresciani will also introduce the upcoming SynchroniCity Open Call for SMEs, that will open on 1 June 2018 and will distribute € 3 Million to innovative services for urban areas.

Chiara Bresciani: “Synchronicity represents the opportunity for the Municipality of Milan to implement a large-scale pilot of IoT services to support citizens in solving important problems in the field of mobility. The project is in synergy with the activities of the Department of Digital Transformation and Civic Services and the Open Call responds to the objective of implementing initiatives aimed at attracting talents, skills and innovative projects”.
